Jesus (Jehovah saves) Matt 1: 21 She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for he will save His people from their sins. 23 Behold the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which translated means God with us.
Jesus ask His disciples who do you say that I am? Peter gave the answer “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Mat 16:16 ASB
This man Jesus is often spoken of as a lesser individual than the Christ. I want to make clear in my understanding of the Scripture I find nothing indicating that Jesus is not the Christ.
I find nothing indicating we out grow Him, and should put Him aside and go on into the Christ. When it is very clearly pointed out by numerous Scriptures Jesus and Christ are one and the same. You can’t have one without the other. Example of this shown in John 20: 26-28 After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. JESUS came the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you” 27. Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My Hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.” 28. Thomas answered and said to Him, “My LORD and my GOD!”
Paul makes it clear in 2Cor 5: 16 Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.
We see according to the next verse what has happened, 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, He is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 18. NOW all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
Can we let go of the old ancestor teaching, and realize WE ARE NOW RECONCILED TO GOD THROUGH CHRIST.
John 20;21-23 So Jesus said to them again “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you” 22. And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23. “IF YOU FORGIVE THE SINS OF ANY THEIR SINS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN them; If you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.”
Can we understand that God begot God it is a continuous expansion of God
This is why Jesus stated “If you have seen me you have seen the Father” If you have see Jesus You have seen the Christ. For Jesus and Christ are one. Now what can we say about the body of Christ. If you have seen Christ body you have seen mankind, and if you see mankind you see Christ body. He and the Father are one. We are one with the Father in Jesus Christ. Who is the head of all power and principality, both in earth and heaven. This same power is given the body of Christ, which we are. No, No, a thousand times no there is no division in Jesus Christ, You can’t have one without the other. Just as you can’t have Christ without having the Father.
The prayer of Jesus was for the Father to make us one as He and the Father are one. Can you believe it? This man Jesus is God in the flesh. This Christ is God in the flesh. And the Body of Christ is God in the flesh. Hear it now. Your sins are forgiven, You are translated by the hand of God to the Kingdom of His Son. Where is this Kingdom of God? In you. Don’t look for a Kingdom to come. But enjoy the kingdom you are. Let your garden bloom again with the Glory of the Father we shared before the world was.
Act 17: He made from one man (Blood) every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation.
It is clear the Father is the source of all life. Where can you find life outside of Him? In Him we live, move, and have our being.
Rejoice in the life given us from the Father. We are His expression in the earth.
Blessings
Bill.
