WHAT WE ARE AND WHAT WE ARE NOT
I have often made the statement “We are here to learn what we are not, so we may understand what we are. As for me I have spent most of my life doing just that. As Paul stated “The things I would do I don’t and the things I don’t want to do I do.” We go to church and follow the rules set down in order to be acceptable to the Church we are affiliated with.
We then become in bondage to their do’s and don’ts (this is not what we are) We spend a lifetime struggling to keep up with the neighborhood (This is not what we are) We eat to much, drink to much, smoke to much, and spend time worrying about the future. We could go on and on pointing out what we are not. But the main question is who are we?
Come lets reason together. You need not be a rocket scientists to understand the modern day religious organizations is nothing but a big business using the name of the Lord to cover up their deeds.
Who are we? We are the Son’s of God sent to unite and gather that which is scattered. We are not here with swords of war far, We are here with the greatest weapon known to man and that is LOVE.
Of course we see the condition of the world, and the so called leaders. We know God has put each one of them in the place they are. We know as well He is able to bring them down.
I would encourage each of you to begin to observe some little groups rising up with the burning intent to help, and deliver the people in bondage. Not in just one area but world wide. What governments are unable to do, These Sons of God will do. Yes we are the ones sent to brings oneness, not to just a few religious orders, but all men who are all equally the Children of God.
We are free from the bondage of sin and death, free from the powers of our own mind and ego, free from fear, and worry. All of these things we are made free through the Lord Jesus Christ. One wonderful thing about this is time has not power over us. We need not rush to accomplish something, We know all will be accomplished by the unveiling of our Father’s plan.
He sent us here not to condemn the world but to bring to oneness those who still embrace the darkness because of fear of the unknown. We are here to enlighten all of God’s people to the finished work of the Cross of Jesus Christ. You need not feel you must pray for those marching on in God. No they don’t need your prayers, they have the full confidence in whom they believe. You need not feel you must send your finances to them No they have a unlimited supply from those who are lead by the Spirit to provide for them. You see some are called to send supplies others are sent to speak others sent to intercede for them. God anoints all the body to do the part it is sent to do. So my Brother/Sister don’t put yourself in bondage worrying what you should or shouldn’t do simply ask the Father to show you and He will. In this the Father is doing there are no big I and little you. We are all members of the same body and will all enjoy the same inheritance.
Are you ready for this. Can you walk away from the old mind set handed down for generations, unveiling the truth as to what we ARE NOT. Have you accepted the fact we are not of this world nor are we of this Adam realm. Can you relate to the fact we are a new creation, created in Christ. A creation sent to establish the Kingdom of God on earth, where all men every where will love his neighbor as himself.
Now lets talk about some things that is holding some of the Children in bondage. We know there are all kinds of addictions one may get entangled in. One of the first things we must recognize is, “this is not who we are.” The mind and ego are fighting to hold us in bondage to their comfort zone. The Holy Spirit dwelling within you contains the attributes of the Father ready to be expressed to the world. We are appearing in a flesh body, however the body is not our problem. The body responds to the dictates of our mind. The mind desires to satisfy the senses. Therefore leaving us at war with the Spirit of Christ within. This is why the carnal mind cannot please God. The mind sets itself up as being the ruler of our body. The tool of the mind is the ego. Working together they keep confusion, and fear as a rule over our flesh. We want to serve God, but we continue to do the works of the flesh. In so doing we condemn ourselves, and fear the condemnation of our Christians friends, if they find our what we are doing. We have been so indoctrinated with the dos and don’t and eternal torment, Only God can deliver us from such bondage. I thank God through the Lord Jesus Christ we are delivered.
If you find yourself in warfare with a habit, don’t try and be something you are not. Be who you are if there is a weakness give it to God, and continue to do what the Spirit is leading you to do. If you are condemned by the group you worship with, find another group. But continue to seek the Lord, before you know it the habit will disappear. I know a woman who was delivered from smoking. She went for years free from the habit. Then one day she saw a Brother who was a Christian smoking. She was so up set she was unable to hear the Spirit of the Lord in the Brother. She told the group about her seeing him smoking and of course they all were upset and at once started rebuking the devil out of Him. Well you know what happened the Woman found herself smoking and in bondage. The Lord spoke to her heart. “You condemned your Brother for being in bondage. Now deliver yourself from your bondage.” She knew she couldn’t and in deep repentance she learned Her Brother wasn’t what she judged him to be, nor was she a judge to condemn him. Sometimes it is hard to learn what we are not.
It has come to my attention the question concerning the Homosexual community and their standing in God.
My wife and I have known Gay people and some of them were dear friends. How our society can bring such condemnation upon them is beyond my understanding. It is my understanding God is the creator of all things, both in heaven and earth. If this is the case I don’t think He was unaware that some of His creation were going to be different than others. And I know Him as the almighty God, therefore I cant believe there is a power called the devil big enough to destroy the biggest percentage of Gods creation. If that were the case God would not be almighty.
It is my understanding that with one blood God made the nations. Therefore man shares that one blood. We often hear it quoted in churches, “we were crucified together with Christ, also resurrected together with Him.” Jesus Christ gave the blood, (that one blood) that was life for all flesh. This brought an end to the blood line. And the blood life as it was known. Your life is in the Spirit, not in the blood. You are Spirit beings. Every one borne of woman has the Spirit life of Christ within them. Every one is born for a purpose in God’s plan.
When Jesus Christ went to the cross, He brought an end to the fleshly ways of man. None of the deeds of the flesh will go with you when the breath leaves your body. Regardless of your fleshly life style on earth. You will not take the acts of the flesh with you. Each of you are a member of the body of Christ, and each of you will be where He is. And I can assure you He is not in hell, but on the right hand of the Father. Where He is you will be also. I know I can feel the hell fire and brimstone preachers gasping to hold back their anger as they read this. To me they have chosen to minister a angry God, one to fear less he cut you off. Well this kind of preaching has them in a hell already. They can’t be at peace, they are too busy condemning others to hell. I say to them Let He without sin cast the first stone. We all have sinned, And thank God we have all been forgiven. Christ has come, will come, and is coming. He has enlightened some to His presence within. Others he is brining the understanding to them. And He will continue to do so until we all come to the place he has for us where the Father is all in all. And we understand what that means. Alcoholic, Homosexual, Drug addict, Rich, Poor, All, All, All will com and be one. There is therefore no condemnation for we are all in Christ Jesus.
Are you still with me? Jesus Christ came to bring Man to God. He did just that. Of course it is foolish to entertain the notion that one may live a life style of the world and not pay the price for his choices. You chose to live friendly with the worldly pleasures, you are going to find yourself reaping a hellish life. You can have untold riches and be the most miserable among men. Or You can be the poorest among the poor and be at peace in you life. Nothing in the fleshly realms of man can bring peace and joy to your Soul. I bring news to you, a light has come, a trumpet sounded arise, arise for the Christ has come. Stop looking on the outside for Him. He has hid himself within. I know for generations we were taught by our Pastors how we should conduct our lives, according to how their organization interpreted we should live, in order to be a Christian. One of the first things pounded into my head when I was young is, You must accept Jesus as your personal Savior. You must be born again. As I grew older and begin to seek guidance from the Lord, I questioned why I needed to ask Jesus to come into my heart when He said He was with me always. He would never leave me or forsake me. That He knew me before the foundation of the world. I didn’t need to ask Him to come in, I just needed to acknowledge He was there already. Being born again. Well my friend I die daily to self yet I am alive in Christ as I decrease He increases. So being born again takes some time. Do I still fail? Of course I do. Do I still have my ups, and downs? Of course, however I have learned to praise God regardless of my feelings. Good times or hard times I will praise Him. I am the one that changes through it all. I find He never changes, He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
This is the key we need to evaluate. We change He doesn’t. His love for us is unconditional. It doesn’t very from one of my acts to the other. He loves me no matter what. The same for you, He loves you, and abides with you.
Of course we hear on the news, and read in our papers, the vile acts against our children. Molestation, beatings, neglect, and so on. Not only against our Children but against each other. Wife beatings, assaults, robberies, murder. Then we look at officials in high places of Government, their conduct leaves a lot to be desired. We see wars Nations, against Nations, all struggling to be the most powerful. To be dominant. To be the Nation in control of all others. Oh foolish man when will you understand it is not by might nor power, but by the Spirit of the Lord. The ego and mind of man is His enemy. As long as He is led by His senses and ego He will struggle with the hell he creates for himself and those who follow him. Hitler is a good example of this. How should we evaluate this? His doctrine and brutality towards others certainly confirms the depth a people will fall to when hunger for power and control dominates their life. Does this mean they are going to burn in hell for eternity? Or the native in the jungle that never heard of Jesus, who kills and eats the flesh of his enemy. Is He going to burn in hell for eternity? Or the man that pulls the lever that electrocutes someone, what is His fate? Aren’t you glad for Jesus who paid the price for all of those things. None of these acts have any part of who you are or what you are. The mind and eyes that are blind does as they feel, and what they think in their mind is right. Thank God all of those acts of the flesh is just that acts of flesh, and will not enter the kingdom of God. You are not going to be cleansed some day. Through the Lord Jesus Christ we are clean now. Do all see this No. Do all confess Christ abiding within? Most are looking for a Christ to appear some day. No He is not a someday Christ He is a NOW CHRIST. You can have the peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit in your life now. You are made complete in Christ. Just as much as The Father was in Jesus Christ. So He is in you. As Jesus lived pleasing to the Father so also may you live in the same manor. God dose not love Jesus more that He loves you. You are His Sons. He is and will cleans you from all unrighteousness. You are hearing His voice, and you are awakened to the Christ within. It is Him you will follow, not another.
It is difficult to lay aside all of our old doctrines. assumptions laid down for generations, one must follow in order to be saved. The do’s and don’ts of church order. Judging and condemning others for not believing as you do. Accepting one life style and rejecting another, picking those who you feel should go to heaven or hell. Not your job. Jesus Christ gave His all for all men not just a few. All have been judged and found not guilty. You are free Child of God, Let the love of God flow out to those who are still in bondage to ego and self, that they might be enlightened to the fact, He is not a God of wrath and vengeance, but of peace and love towards all men.
LOVE IS THE ANSWER!!!!
I BELIEVE WE ARE HERE EXPERIENCING NOT WHAT WE ARE BUT WHAT WE ARE NOT. WHEN WE UNDERSTAND THIS, I BELIEVE WE WILL THEN SEE WHAT ARE TRUE IDENTITY IS.
