The Cross was beautiful. It brought us to this day, but we are not to bear our crosses anymore. Jesus did it once as all mankind; and to do it is to sacrifice Him afresh and anew. Furthermore: He came down from the Cross! All His works before, leading up to, and during the Cross were for this day-the Third Day. Praise God for the Cross! I am thankful for it. But we must know that the Cross exudes the idea of a dead Jesus; and I'm here to tell you that He is very much alive! My Jesus did die, but, my friend, He rose again! He is here and He is alive. Be thankful for the Cross, but worship the Ever Living One.
