I am sure most will agree, the origin: or beginning of all things originated in God, all things will return to God.
Colossians 1: 13-20
For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son. 14. In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. For it is the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20. And through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
Can we hear what the Spirit is saying to us? Note “He rescued us from the domain of darkness.” He rescued us, prevented us from being discarded, rejected, or put out of operation. Not only did He rescue us but he transferred us (moved us out of the darkness) To the Kingdom of His own Son. Can you receive the fact we are what Jesus is (The light of the world.) We have redemption, forgiveness of our sins. Now hear what the Scripture is telling us “He is the image of the invisible God.” He is (God made visible.) He is also the head of the Church (The body) It matters not what man thinks about this, it isn’t going to change the fact. He is the Head of the body, and we are members of His body. There is “One body, and one Spirit, One Lord, one faith one baptism. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” This is a fact you do not have any being outside of God. We were programmed at birth to believe we were human beings, the error came when our parents programmed us to believe we were humans; separated from God because of Adam and Eve’s disobedience. They failed to tell us human beings are God. Now I know some of you will be upset at this statement, but it still doesn’t change the fact. (We are not our own we belong to God.) We are not in darkness as the Ministers of this day has pounded into the heads of their congregation. We are not separate from God as we were taught. We are the light of the world, and we are the invisible God made visible. If not then we wouldn’t be members of Christ body. Remember when Jesus said if they destroyed the temple He would raise it up in three days? He was talking about His body. Was he unveiling a mystery we over looked? We accepted His body being crucified and raised again the third day. This was the natural body of Jesus. Can you see we are in the third day and His Body(Spiritual Body) is being raised or unveiled for the world to see. Every nation will see, Every tongue will confess. Yes there is Christ in the world today. He is in His Body.(you)
Without the new birth we will never see this. The new birth is not a form set down by man. It isn’t saying Jesus come into my heart. No being born again is Ego, (self) dieing being dead to the things of the world and alive in Christ where you are complete.
Every 'human' being was created to be the image and likeness of God. God is our source of life. Out of all creation, man is the only one created with the capacity to be God. Because our parents programmed us to believe we were separate from God we functioned as a man, as a 'human' being. Only when we realize that God is our life, and we are one with Him, then we will function as life. We will confess as Paul “I live yet not I” We must come to the realization, man is nothing but an illusion controlled by the five senses; which were deceived into believe they were something they were not. We appear to be something other than what we are. We appear to be away from our source of life. When in fact we are not. We are one with out source. As long as we believe we are mere human beings we remain ignorant of our true identity. Remember Jesus stating “I and my Father are one” This was not the confession of the human mind this was the Mind of Christ. The same mind we are to have working in us. Our thoughts only feed the illusion of our carnal mind. Thank God as stated above we have been delivered from the darkness of our thinking. We are free in the Kingdom of God to think with the mind of Christ. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus 6. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.” Phil 2: 5-6
“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Cor 2: 16
So long as we believe we are merely 'human' beings we will think as men. We will limit ourselves to the demands of our senses. And fail to see our oneness with the Father. It is a fact, before we can ever enjoy the Kingdom of God; there must first be a death to self. A lifetime is spent accumulating riches, and position. Those with wealth and position is looked upon by others as successful. They have made it in the world, achieved their goals and gained the respect of their fellowman.
Is this what we are looking for? What about the one who sees nothing in this world that He would want to hold to. His vision is not on success as men measure success. He is filled with the understanding as to who He is, and what the source of His life is. Realizing He, and the Source are one; In Him He lives moves and has His being. He is in the world, but not of the world. His abiding place is not earthly. He abides in a place not seen by the eye of man. Nor is it understood with the natural mind.
Is Father calling us to awaken from the illusion we have lived? You are free, You are not to abide in darkness. You are the light, The kingdom of God in the earth. The Christ appearing, to return all back to the Father.
The carnal mind is simply wrong thinking, however the ego drives us
to do wrong. It expresses conceited pride, envy, hatred, lust, etc, makes it difficult to admit when we're wrong. All of this must die. It can only die when the natural thoughts give way to the mind of Christ. (We must be born again.) The experience of the new birth brings a change; our physical bodies are a visual expression of our mind. When our mind is renewed to its original state, our bodies will change to be a visual expression of God. Each individualized so as to be recognizable as Moses and Elijah, on the mount of transfiguration. Yes I believe we will recognize each other in our glorified bodies. Praise God we are Family.
It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. Gal 5: 1
Also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will. 13. To the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. 13. In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise. 14 Who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory. Eph 1: 11-14
When I meditated upon this set of Scriptures, I can see where there is a freedom given us in Christ. In this freedom we are instructed to stand firm. I noticed we are instructed not to be subject to the yoke of slavery. In other words we are not to have a yoke (restrictive burden)
When we think of being a slave we associate it to being in bondage to another person. I knew I had never been a slave to others, but I did find I had been in bondage to my ego. Realizing the Christ dwells within and the Father directs my steps. I can and will take a firm stand against my own ego, and not go again into bondage to it. I realize who the “Son sets free is free indeed.” We have been predestined according to God purpose, He works all things after the counsel of His will. Have we listened to the message of truth, the gospel of our salvation? After hearing it did we believe it? Can we accept the fact we are sealed in Him. Praise God we are free from self and ego that works against us. We are no longer slaves to self. We are God’s own possession, tell me who can take us from the hand of our Father?
Understanding we are freed by the power of the Spirit of Christ not our own works. We are ignited by the Spirit, our vision is no longer on self and its lusts. We experience the compassion and love of God for all mankind. I realize the teaching we set under for years. Sadly a majority of Christians are still being taught of the burning hell, waiting for most of the population. It seems their God was not the almighty, Nor the all knowing; He let a force come forth and rob Him of the majority of His creation. This teaching puts the listener in bondage, and fear. Condemnation sets in on them, first they condemn themselves for failing to live according to Church doctoring. Then they condemn others for failing. Come out from the guidance of man, hear what the Spirit is saying. You are a vessel of expression. Self and ego expresses the world and its fleshly pleasures. The Spirit expresses the Father His love and all His attributes. The question needed to be ask is; Do you know your true identity? Can you accept the fact, “As He is so are we in the world.” Also “Where He is there you may be also.” “My sheep know my voice” Isn’t it wonderful, are you hearing what the Spirit is saying?
