“The first man Adam was made a living soul: The last Adam was made a quickening (life giving Spirit)” 1Cor 15: 45
50. “Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
“I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed.”
We must understand these two men. They are Christ and Adam. The first natural in which all humanity is found. The last Adam Christ also a man in which all humanity will end up. (In the beginning God, In the end God, is all and in all.
We have come to a time to awaken out of our sleep, and grasp the reality of who we are, and what we are doing.
When we speak of the last Adam, it is just that the (Last Adam.)
If we reach the last of something that’s it, there is no more. That, which was is no more. So it is with this last Adam. Before the Last Adam died, He became Sin for us who knew no sin. Now hear this He became Sin on the cross for us. Paul, stated he was crucified with Christ. What was he talking about? Just what he said “I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Gal 2: 20
This brings to light the fact, the earthly Adam with the carnal mind is ineffective in the Spirit. He only exist in the mind of man, that has not been enlightened to the fact, Adam is dead. A majority of Christians Do not know their true identity.
I remember when our grocery bill was paid, the store owner would give the kids a bag of candy. We would enjoy that candy, until it was all gone. However, I would still keep reaching into the empty sack, hoping there was one remaining piece we had overlooked.
We see this last Adam, and realized it is more than one on the cross, it is all of mankind. But even in the death of the cross, there is an after experience we must see. In the tomb where we were laid, a change takes place we are awakened, out of the sleep of death, into the reality of who we are in Christ. The old carnal mind, which held us in bondage, deceiving us into believing we were apart from our Father, came to an end. We are not the old Adam we are the one “new man” resurrected in Christ. The carnal mind being so cunning, made us believe a lie. It was not by our works, but the grace of God raised us up. We can say with all confidence, the faith of the Son of God has resurrected me from death, into life. Not my life, but His. Even as we appear in this flesh, and blood body, we can rightfully say we have been found not guilty, we are justified, glorified, and made complete in Christ Jesus the Lord.
You may think by doing good works, and by supporting some organized church, you are pleasing God. There will be many in that day say Lord, Lord, but His response to them is, “depart from me I never knew you.” Oh the sadness we face, when we do what the crafty mind of flesh directs us to do. Even in what we consider Godly works, is some thought conjured up in our natural mind, building our ego to the point of being supreme. We see this in our midst everyday, Men, and Women, in the land with supper egos flaunting their ability, which they consider to be above all others. I don’t think the majority of them have been to the Cross yet. Oh they sing the songs, and perform the rituals, of their beliefs, but have they come to death yet? It entails more than saying “Jesus come into my heart.” It is more than being baptized in water. It is a death to the deceiving mind of man. This new man, is not motivated by what he sees, but by that which is unseen. Back to the Created Adam, in the image of God. Male, and Female, joined in one. Not seen by the natural eye, yet able to express in matter, the same as the Spirit of God expressed Himself in the formed Adam.
We are to heed the command of the Father, when He spoke to the created Adam to replenish the earth, and subdue it. He spoke this to Adam before Eve was taken from Him. He was not talking about the natural birth of the formed man, which is just a type of the Real Created man. We are bringing forth Spiritual Son’s, through our relationship with the Father, God is bringing forth God, back to Himself. The seed planted in the earth is God’s seed. It will not bring forth anything but God. Yes there is a death first, before the body can come forth. But I declare to you, the death has been experienced, and resurrection is a reality, to those who have an ear to hear, and an eye to see, the handy work of our Father. It is the risen Christ appearing as he said He would. Rise up in Him and live.
Reckon yourselves dead to this world, but alive in Christ. Come and rejoice together in the place He prepared for you. Where He is there you may be also.
“Adam where are you?” “I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” “Who told thee that thou was naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?”
Adam had walked and fellowshipped with God, He evidently had lost the glory that had once surrounded him. Now just hearing the voice of the Lord caused fear to overtake him, because he identified self, as being uncovered, fear, and shame, he had never experienced before, was now a part of him. The lie had magnified itself, now the reality of good, and evil, begin to grow in his garden. The heavens were no longer ruling him. His God (conscious mind) was cast down to the earth, now he was self conscious and fearful. He searched his surrounds for a covering to hide him. Feelings they had never experienced before begin to awaken in them. Sending them out of the garden they found the thorns hurt, life was completely different.
We can continue to listen to the lies of our mind, and walk in the fear and doubt. Always looking outside of ourselves for something to blame. Always searching and never finding the satisfaction, our soul so longs for. Or we can Let the mind of Christ be in us. Knowing we change not from the outside in, but from the inside out. Look to the Christ within. You will again hear the Voice of the Father. Calling for you to come. Soon you will fellowship again with Him face to face, realizing you were searching for Him out in the wilderness, and He has been with you all the time. Again the heavens rule in your garden. “THE HEAVENS WILL RULE YOU KNOW!”
