The following is being written with the intent you will be glad and rejoice with us and hopefully ask the Lord to help you understand our powerful and wonderful blessings.
I will begin at a point that may seem unusual, but at times God uses the rough times to cause us to press into His Kingdom.
When Andrew attended FST he was chosen to go to a church in Virginia or West Virginia, {I do not recall which at this time} for the 10 day internship required for the semester. He was well received and liked enough to be invited to return for summer ministry. This he did, working hard, playing his drums in terrific heat, and doing all that was requested of him, with glee. Then the pastor asked him to go on a ministerial trip with him and another brother from the church. To Andrew’s shock the pastor and church brother slept together and sent Andrew off to another place. They behaved in a manner and finally proved to Andrew they were a gay pair. Upon returning from the trip, the pastor’s wife found out Andrew knew the situation of her husband’s relationship with the other fellow and started to make a hit on Andrew. Thus Andrew insisted they bring him home and when he arrived we witnessed the situation.
Needless to say, this experience devastated Andrew. Being young in ministry, he became discouraged and sort of gave up, saying, “what’s the use?” One night a best friend from High School, who was a neighbor from down the street, came by and he decided to go out with him for a good time. He did not come home till 3 a.m.. God kept me in intercessory prayer all the time he was out. I was in torment and knew he was also. Sure enough, the boy’s father owned a bar, and they were being held there at gunpoint. When he got home (Dad was asleep) but Andrew and I went through a tremendous spiritual battle I cannot explain in detail here, but it was to the point of rolling in the floor with groans that could not be uttered.
In the days to come, he slowly recovered. During that time there were a number of miracle workers and healing evangelist that would come on television, however our spirits were sensitive and realized them to be questionable and we felt leery of their genuineness. Then one day, to my surprise, I realized a great witness to the ministry of one who was powerfully anointed. I called Andrew and said, “look! this guy is for real.” Holy Spirit witnessed within both of us the power of God emanating from the ministry we were seeing. Then we saw an announcement that this man was scheduled to minister in a city close by and decided to attend.
I will share more concerning Carolyn later, but now I would like to say, being the messenger from God that she has been to our family, she played her part during those years. I realize most of you know our boys explored a bit of the world during their teenage years, but they both tell us it was their sister that kept them searching for the deeper things of God and reality in Him.
When Andrew, some of the Navy fellows from the church, and I attended the revival meetings we had seen advertised on TV, we sat spellbound! If ever I had witness the power and presence of the Lord, it was then.
During one of the revival meetings we attended the evangelist came down the isle and stood beside the one Andrew sat in and said, “Someone is praying for Mark.” The Navy fellow sitting next to Andrew pointed to Andrew and said, “He is!”
I was sitting in the row behind Andrew, and little did I, or his Dad know the burden of prayer he was carrying for his brother Mark. Unbeknown to us, Mark had been crying and praying out to God for deliverance from drugs. He was helping in the church, leading a puppet team ministry, giving not only his tithe, but offerings, etc. and doing all he knew to do and seeking God daily for deliverance, as between he and his wife they were doing $300.00 worth of drugs per week.
When he was told Andrew was praying for Mark, the evangelist asked Andrew to stand in the isle and began to prophecy to him. He said, “I see Mark going up and down on a ladder!” At that time Mark was a professional painter with his own business, and on a ladder during his workdays most likely more then off. Then he described a spiritual meaning to Jacob’s ladder in reference to Mark’s experience. He told Andrew, he had an older brother named Mark, and like him, Mark was his older brother. Then he said, “In fact, you are the baby boy!”
I almost jumped out of my chair. That statement meant nothing to anyone else present except Andrew and myself because: when Carolyn was born Andrew was 8 years old and came to me and said, “I am glad you have another baby.” I said, “WHY?” He said, “cause I won’t be the baby of the family any more.” I said, “Oh, but you will be the baby boy.” From then on we jokingly often called him the baby boy, but never outside of the walls of our home, as we did not want to embarrass him. It was only a private loving name we gave him within our immediate family.
However, as shocking as it was, at that moment I realized God knew and used it as a natural means to show me in the natural realm the spiritual reality of the ministry before us that I had truly witnessed in the Holy Spirit!
Afterward, during the time the evangelist was praying for Andrew, I saw in the Spirit a ball of fire, sparks flew, Andrew went flying with a leaping dance in the Spirit one way, and the evangelist went flying with the same type of leap and dance in the opposite direction, and power and blessings filled the entire place. What an experience! And there were many more such times that followed.
That night Mark had prescheduled practice with his puppet team, so was unable to attend. However the next night he attended, sitting in the middle of a full row of Navy guys and young people form our church. The evangelist came off the platform and down to that isle saying, “I am going to finish what I started last night.” He put his mike to Mark’s mouth and said, “ Where is Mark!” He asked him to step into the isle. The evangelist prophesied to Mark, and when he prayed for him, Mark swirled forward and fell to the floor. Afterward he told us he felt fire go through his entire body. It burned and totally destroyed the craving for drugs and set him free.
The evangelist then said, “Where is Mama?” He said to me, “ I do not know what you have been doing for your sons, but you have been doing something very powerful in the Spirit!” I had always prayed and trusted God for them, but during those rough late teen years, I was led of Holy Spirit to pray the prayers in Ephesians for them. I would put their names in where fitting. {If you meditate on them, you will realize how very powerful they are in the Spirit realm}
Let me inject here, there were no cards we filled out with prayer request, names, or any way the evangelist could know who we were or anything about our lives. Our sons in later meetings set up the equipment for this evangelist and there were no earphones or any such instruments used to give him information. His ministry was from non other then Holy Spirit.
From this time revival hit our church and home. God began to open up His Word in a new and living way. Folks would gather at our home every night there was not a meeting. I would come down stairs in the morning and our living room floor would be covered with open Bibles and Concordances where the young people had been searching the Scriptures the night before. They would enter the house, jumping and leaping and praising God. They would dance around my kitchen until the floor waved up and down and I feared they would end up in the basement. They would individually feel led to go to the church and pray late at night and wee hours in the morning. When they arrived, others would already be there, individually led of the Lord to get up and go pray. They had some marvelous times in the sweet presence of the Lord as He met them there. Even Carolyn got in on the act. One night someone laid hands on her head and prayed for her. After that when in service and someone would pass by her, she would feel the anointing and reach out for their hand and put it on her head!
This all happened because the Letter of the Law was dissolving and the Revelation of Christ was unfolding within them. They were realizing that Christ said to Martha, “ I am the Resurrection!” Thus the Resurrection is not a physical day to come sometime off in the future, but the Resurrection Day is the enlightenment of the knowledge that Christ is within us, so likewise is Resurrection Life, and we do not have to wait for “some great getting up morning,” as the song goes, but our spirits are alive with his Everlasting Life NOW.
They became aware of what and where the Kingdom of God is. A kingdom is a domain with a king who rules it. The Kingdom of God is not a piece of real-estate over in Israel, or any place else on the earth, or somewhere in the darkness beyond the blue, but scripture tells us, “The Kingdom of God is within you!” Thus our hearts are the domain, and He is our King. The Kingdom of God is: Peace, Joy, and Righteousness in the Holy Ghost….which can only come when Christ sits on the throne of our hearts and is ruling and reigning in our lives. This is when He enlightens us and has “His Day” in us! It is not a onetime happening, but a lifetime process, which is that Great and Terrible Day of the Lord! When we rule and reign with him, we have been led captive to Him and are become as one with Him in desire and understanding so that we do as he would in each trial and situation of our lives.
When God begins to reveal Divine Truth to you, all Heaven opens up to you and you enter into understanding, knowledge and wisdom of the eternal realm where time is no more. Where the religious time line disappears and Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. You comprehend his Love like one could never imagine and realize how he has nullified condemnation within you, of others, and of self, and that he did not come into the world to condemn the world. You understand why he created light and darkness and good and evil as scripture declares. You know who the devil is and why he exists and that God created him to fulfill his purpose. You know you are predestined to be conformed to the image of his son. God makes real to you why he loved Jacob and hated Esau. You experience heaven and earth passing away, and receive a new heaven and a new earth. Babylon falls within you. He reveals the Book of Revelation and you know it is a Revelation of Jesus Christ and the work he is doing with in your heart, and the end time happening is the end of self and the beginning of Christ ruling within. The glory and beauty of this Revelation is beyond our natural comprehension. And as you seek Him all the other unusual, buried questions one may have from religious teaching or unrevealed scriptures are unfolded: …..And on it goes, we can never exhaust the knowledge and understanding of God’s impartation of Divine Truth revealed to our hearts. I Cor. 2:10.
I could never begin to describe the wonder and the beauty and the glory of the things that have been revealed to us from the Word of God or its affect on us. Should I try it would crash my computer, but I do want to let you know it is not a leaving of the doctrines of men, as men have all kinds of doctrines, but it is an end to them as they are dissolved with the brightness of his coming and the impact of going on! Hebrews 6:1, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection (completion in the Greek).
It is a going on, and it is not easy. One must press into the Kingdom of God.. This being the reason most do not seek this way, as it is a dying of self, carnality and ego as we become one with Christ. Instead most choose to sit back and wait until they get to heaven, spending life bound by fear, guilt, and the earthly works of their religion or beliefs, never realizing that just as his Love, his forgiveness is also eternal, and it is not by works of righteousness, but his grace we enter into his presence.

When we saw what was happening to our sons and the Navy fellows and young people in our church and hear what was being revealed to them we had huge bewilderment like you all seem to be having about us, even now. First we would hear something that sounded like Baptist doctrine, then an Advent, then a Christian Science or a cult or something else yet we knew it could not be wrong or evil because of what we were witnessing. Thus Wentworth and I began to seek God for His answer.

Here is my part of the testimony about coming into the “Kingdom Message.” At first I did not go to the services with Wilanna and the boys. One thing I do know is that the boys were supernaturally changed. I tried to straighten them out, as I didn’t have a clue of what they had come into.
When they would gather in the church and pray they were very concerned that their Dad would not come into and receive this knowledge. As they were praying, Mark spoke out and said, “My Dad will never see this message.” Then one of the Navy boys began to prophecy and said, “OH, YES HE WILL!”
After several weeks of God dealing with me, I went to my study, laid on the floor and prayed earnestly, saying, “God, if by some chance my boys are right, please show me, little by little, because I couldn’t receive it all at once.” And that is exactly what He did!
After several months of the Spirit showing me and dealing with me, I again went to my study, and was again on the floor in earnest prayer. I wept and gowned, my mind was so boggled.
Suddenly the Spirit spoke to me and said, “GET UP!” I stood up. “SIT Down!” I sat down. Then with a very powerful voice in my Spirit, He said, “Son, you must wipe away all that you have been taught over the past fifty four years.” I then leaped out of my chair, lifted up my hands and said, “I receive that Lord!”
I knew it was God speaking to me as it was exactly the way He spoke to me many years prior while staying at Russell’s on West Street in Biddeford, Maine, on the first Monday night of September 1951. I came into the basement and the Spirit of God came on me and I picked up the Bible and it fell open to Isaiah. I looked down and read, “All we like sheep have gone astray,” and I began to weep like I had never wept before. I went upstairs to the kitchen. I picked up a promise on the bench and it said, “The Lord God of Peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. I raised my hands and began to shout and the chains fell off. My brother Bill was the only one in the house who witnessed this experience, but when Doris arrived home she knew by the Spirit, ran and hugged me and declared she knew I just got saved.
Just as that was a genuine experience, so was my experience in my study! After wiping my mind free from all religious teaching it then became very clear and real. It was what I knew and not what I believed. God has continued to bless me and reveal His Truth to me, little by little, line upon line, precept upon precept, just as I asked Him to ever since.
Now back to my wife:
As for me: When my son’s said, “Mother, we have knowledge you do not have.” “What?” I said. “After I have travailed for you all these years until you have come to this great revival, now you tell me you have a greater knowledge then me?” Then I said, “God, if they are right, show me.” It was then I began to seek God and know him for myself, regardless of what I had been taught since a small child. And, WOW! Did I have an experience! Suddenly, I would receive supernaturally, knowledge I had never known before imparted by God to my understanding. It is not a belief, doctrine, or religion, but a supernatural KNOWING! When it comes it is more real and solid then the flesh you live in. It comes by the Word of God coming off the page and being supernaturally quickened and alive within you. I spent four years in my Bible every spare moment I had. I ate my meals with it, I vacuumed with it, and had it around me as much as possible wherever I was. I had to know truth! I would not take the word of my children, preachers or others. When a revelation came, I searched the scriptures concerning it and God would cause me to see the revealed knowledge was eminent and flowed as truth throughout the whole Bible from cover to cover.
Over the years God has led us to met or hear many people from all over the country who have supernaturally received from God, like understanding. The morning we moved from Florida, God miraculously connected us with many here in California with whom we have great fellowship. There are preachers and churches in many places with great divine knowledge. It might surprise you to know Benny Hinn’s brother William Hinn has a wonderful experience.
Here I want to insert a few lines about our precious Carolyn. When she was very young, {you may have heard} Doris told me she had a vision in which all the candles on her 16th birthday cake went out. Doris felt it meant Carolyn’s life would end at that age. She was this age (16) when God brought us to this great revival and supernatural experience. Up until then, we had prayed and sought God for her healing. Being in the area of a Navy Base, we had first time visitors nearly every Sunday morning. Many with good intentions would want to pray for Carolyn and cast the devil out of her. Often during those young years, many people made remarks and gave opinions both negative and positive. Some said, “Wonder what the Piers did wrong or sin they committed for God to punishment them with a thing like that. Others wanted God to bless them with a child like Carolyn, as they wanted to be wonderful people like us who they considered angels because we had her.
One day I sat down and wrote down all the remarks people had made. As I sat there, God spoke loud and clear, “But what did I say?” Years before God had said in my heart, from James 1:2, Count it all joy! Later, one day after I had heard a lot of negative responses and condemnation toward us, the Lord comforted me by saying form the passage concerning the blind fellow, of whom they were asking who had sinned, he or his parents, to cause this, and Jesus said, Neither, for this is for the glory of God.” Thus I put the two things together the Lord had spoke to me, “COUNT IT ALL JOY, FOR THIS IS FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!”
And that it has been, so much so I do not have room to declare it here! But it is when the candles/lights went out in our natural understanding of her life with us, and we knew Carolyn was God’s plan and purpose for our lives. The heartache left, the prayers for her healing and casting out devils stopped, and we have enjoyed the sweet and loveable daughter that she is ever since; knowing ALL things work together for good when we love him, our steps are ordered of the Lord, and she has been and is God’s angel and message to us in a multiple of ways.
Last of all I want to set your minds at ease about our being ready for the Rapture, and hopefully help you to enter that “REST THAT STILL REMAINETH FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD.”
This may not mean much to you, but we have come to realize from Hebrews 12:1, we are compassed about with a great cloud of witnesses. Thus people are spoken of as clouds in scripture.
If you read very carefully, Acts 1:9 says; Jesus was received by a cloud when he left the earth! This Bible language reveals to us that when he comes, he comes into clouds or people, just like he did when he left the earth.
Why else do we sing?
Constantly Abiding, Jesus is mine,
Constantly Abiding, Rapture Divine!
Or
Dwelling in Beulah Land!
Beulah Land, meaning a place where we are already married to Christ. He comes into us and lifts us up where He is! It seems religion holds us in fear of a sin we may commit during a given day, or keeps us from realizing His loving forgiveness is once and for all, and keeps us from appreciating the abundant knowledge revealed in his Word and that His Finished work is for NOW!
Whether you expect to see Christ or not, II Cor. 5:16 tells us we will not see him after the flesh any more, so we will have to see Him in Spirit form, which for many and probably yourselves, like us has already happened. He comes over and over to our hearts and lives, day after day, as His Coming is at hand (:o)
So, how can we not be ready, when already:
The Kingdom of God is within us.
We have this treasure in earthern vessels.
We are hidden in the shadow of His wings.
We abide in Him and He abides in us.
We are one with Him as He and the Father are one.
He inhabits our praises.
We are created for His pleasure.
We are the temple of Holy Ghost.
He makes His dwelling place with us.
He will keep me safe in His dwelling.
He hides me in the shelter of his tabernacle and sets me high upon a rock.
He is with us always, even unto the end of the world.
He will never leave us, nor forsake us.
Our conversation is in Heaven
We enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts, And into His courts with praise!
(I am sure one could find many more scriptures that assure us Christ is ever present with us, loving us, and caring for us as He is an ever present help in time of trouble!
