Christ Today Fellowship

KEEP FOCUSED ON THE LORD

Today is the day when we must keep our focus on the Lord, and remember He is the deliver from darkness. He did not come in vain, but to accomplish the will of the Father. And He completed what He was sent to do.

Of course as the days grow closer to the consummation (Perfect ending) of all things, we will see the spirit of accusation become more prevalent.

Man is always pointing to something other than self to blame. It is so easy to point fingers at those in public office, blaming them for the trouble and bad decisions they made, which caused our problems. As long as the eyes are looking away from self, they will always find excuses as to why things are like they are. And the correction will not be accomplished, not until we stop looking at others and begin to focus on the Spirit of Christ abiding in us. He will direct us in the path we should go. As we follow Him all the outside forces will loose their hold on us. We will find unity among others who are doing the same. Recognizing Christ within, I am not concerned about the powers of fear and darkness, I know they are defeated in Christ.

My desire is to see the Children of God rejoicing, and praising, the Lord in unity of Spirit. We are victorious in Christ. He is abiding in you, You need not search the sky for Him, He is here. We have overcome the world by the Blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony. My testimony is Christ is the Victory, that overcomes the world. Therefore I will rejoice in Him in whom I am complete.

I am reminded of Stephen when being stoned, His focus was on the heavens. There he saw the Lord standing on the right of the Father. Stephen had in His heart not the fear of death, or hate, for those stoning him. But He had the forgiving heart of the Spirit. “Forgive them Father, they know not what they do.” No matter what the decisions are of the political leaders of this day. We must have the same fruit of the Spirit to stand in Christ. When decisions and laws are passed that are against the worship of the Lord, we as the Hebrew children, should without hesitation answer, We will not bow down to other gods. Even if the furnace is seven times hotter. The forth man the King seen is still with His Children, and well able to deliver them out of the mouth of danger. Remember His words “I am with you always, I will never leave or forsake you”

Do we understand what this is talking about, His being with us always? It is hard for our minds to comprehend, the full reality of Christ being within. It is easy to verbalize, but difficult to completely embrace. There are so many reasons in our natural reasoning, why this could not be. Until we come to the complete surrender of self over to the Spirit, the war is not over. The natural mind is hostile towards the Spirit of God. Our thoughts are not His, and our ways are not His ways. So we can only conclude, there is a need for a change of thought and ways. We are keenly aware of the mindset of the religious orders of this day. And the persuasion it has on the thinking and action of its members. It is the Spirit within that brings to light the right, and wrong, of circumstance set before God’s Children. Therefore it is the Father working in us, to will and do His own good pleasure. We are blessed to know, His pleasure is that all creation be set free. We also know it is not by the works of man, or the reasoning of the natural mind. “But by my Spirit says the Lord of host.”

It is so important to understand we are first Spirit beings, created in the image of our Father. Second we are formed or given a body from the environment, which we were to spend time. Now we know time, is something that can be measured. Therefore it can have a beginning, and ending. You cannot measure Spirit. We know all Spirits go back to God who gave them. So we understand our body is formed from the substance of the earth, and unless it is changed it will decay, and go back to the earth from whence it came. If we were to study the pattern Son the Lord Jesus Christ, we would better understand the manner of life we are to live while in this body of earth. If we are given a project to do at our jobs, we are expected to search out how to bring it forth. There is a system one must follow in order to produce the expected results. If we are going to bring forth a crop of corn we are going to plant corn. When we do we need not worry about what is going to come forth. We have the confidence to believe we planted corn, so we are going to get corn. But it will be in due season. There are many things take place with the seed before it comes forth. Christ is planted in our bodies, and Christ is going to come forth in us. Like the corn it will be in due season. Much must happen to the soil around the Christ before it is ready to produce. The self that is the shell must die letting the full authority of the Christ come forth to rule the body. Jesus stated, “In self I can do nothing” Yet He was able to do all things the Father willed for Him to do. Even to the dieing on the cross, giving His life for you and I. Man could not take His life, He lay it down. He became a sin offering for you and I He did not sin, He is a Lamb without spot or blemish. He was a sin offering for us. I believe we are made clean and sanctified by the cleansing of the water of the word. This is how the Church is cleansed. Sin is destroyed by the Blood of Jesus. He was the last Adam. He defeated death by the resurrection from it. “It is appointed for man to die once” It is my understanding, all mankind was in the first Adam, and all mankind is in the last Adam, which was Jesus Christ. I can only see two Adams I don’t see anything between the first Adam and the Last Adam. However I do see one New man THE FULL MANIFESTED BODY OF CHRIST IN WHICH WE ARE MEMBERS. I know there are those who will scratch their heads when they read this. I intend to as the Lord directs to go into more detail on the subject at a later date. However I will say I can not see how you can separate Christ from the Adams. The first and the Last.

Blessings and peace to the reader. Keep your eye upon the Lord, and your ear tuned to the Spirit. His love for you is unconditional.
