Each of us has our time to experience the many challenges of being formed and contained in this human body.
We are created in the image of God, However we are formed a body from the dust of the earth. God’s breath (Spirit) caused us to be a living soul.
The fact remains we belong to the Lord Spirit, Soul, and Body. No matter what condition we consider ourselves to be, the fact remains we belong to God the Father of us all.
We could spend our lifetime trying to explain how The Creator accomplished all of this. And I might say there are those who do just that spend their time trying to explain how it all happened and how we fit in to what they determined to be the answer.
I love the statement it is finished. When something reaches the point of being finished, it is complete just the way it was meant to be.
If Jesus came and finished the work the Father sent Him to do. Why are we so concerned as to how he did it? We know He did, He came to reconcile the world back to the Father. So the only thing one can say is I am reconciled back to the Father from whence I came.
