We see the dark clouds fading away, and the glory of God appearing causing types and shadows to fade away from our consciousness. We now better understanding the mind of Christ within.
We have witnessed the growth, and efforts of man, to make His habitation a place of comfort, and peace. Knowledge increased with overwhelming speed, the past hundred years. It hasn’t reached it peek as yet. It is evident when considering the items purchased today, will within a matter of hours be obsolete. The field of medicine is certainly not lagging behind, We have more cures, and preventive medicines, flooding the market each day.
We could continue on with this line of thought, however when we consider the facts, all this technology, is not bringing happiness, and closer Family ties. On the contrary, we are seeing more discontentment, and separation of Families, than ever before. In the midst of all of this, there is a way of life seen by Godly Men and Woman. For generations the Lord prepared a people. Through every generation he had a witness. We must never forget, our ancestors struggled through persecution, even giving their lives for the Gospel we minister. There is a maturity in some today, who can be still, and hear the Spirit. These are those Jesus spoke of. “The hour is coming, and now is, when the worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.”
As we consider our history It is obvious, Godly men motivated by the Spirit, gave this Country a foundation. Built on the principle of IN GOD WE TRUST! Men, and women, paid the ultimate price, to provide us freedom to worship, and live our life accordingly. We should never take this lightly. It entails more than, setting aside a day of remembrance once a year. We can live free to earn and provide for our families, attend the Church of our choice. However This foundation of IN GOD WE TRUST is a statement of love and harmony. It is obvious when we are selfish and unloving to our neighbors, we are not living the life style of freedom. Hatred is a sick seed that grows and produce after its kind. Therefore we must live a continuous life style, which projects appreciation, and gratitude for the freedom we have. We face disruption’s and anger, freedom causes from others, who will continue to react with jealously and hatred. However we must be mindful of the fact “to those who much is given much is required.”
In the conscious thoughts, of some of the Christians today, is the reality of our Lord, and the price He was willing to pay, for those who hated Him without cause. His reaction was not to call down the Angels from heaven, which he could have done. His cry was “Father forgive them, they know not what they do.”
Maybe just maybe it is time for us to call on our Father, after all we are taught in the Scriptures, Jesus’ Father and are Father is one and the same.
I am sure this is the one our fore-fathers prayed too. So why not give it a try?
It is a fact most people know about Jesus, but very few have a real relationship with Him. It isn’t going to Church every Sunday, or on Easter and maybe a Christmas play. Going to a building and following a set of forms, and rituals, has nothing to do with your relationship with the Lord. When He makes Himself known in your life. You will know, old life style just isn’t satisfying anymore. The change comes when we listen, and hear the Gospel. It doesn’t necessarily come from a sermon at church. You may hear it from a Friend, or at work, or School. A word that awakens something inside of you. A quickening. giving life to the words spoken to you. Something somehow you already knew, but don’t know how you knew. It creates a hunger and thirst deep inside, You know you must hear more. Maybe it was a Scripture like in Matthew 11: 28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” Or one of the other numerous Scriptures pointing to Jesus as our Savior, and deliver. It is awesome to experience. It awakens a hunger in the inter man, a hunger so intense there is no other food that satisfies. This food is Spiritual, it brings abundant life. Life flowing out from one to another, until it causes all men to be filled. Fulfilling the plan of the Father to draw all men to Christ. Who in turn delivers all back to the Father from whence it came.
We face the years afforded us with abundant choices. As all living before us, and those who will follow will, and have made good and bad choices. The tree of good and evil flourishes among men. So it is according to the choices we make daily, which will manifest heaven or hell. As you well know bad choices brings frustration, and unrest. When a leader of a country makes bad choices it brings suffering and frustrations to the whole country.
Scripture teaches us the price Jesus paid for our redemption from sin. This was the will of the Father, and Jesus being the Christ chose to do Father’s will. This in turn brings salvation to all. He purchased you with His own Blood. Then Father, and Son, come into the Temple the Son had purchased. Now man has returned to the place from whence He originated. This of course doesn’t happen all at once. Each man in His own order. The fullness of the Kingdom will not be realized until all the Body of Christ, which consist of all men, comes to the knowledge of the indwelling Christ, and who they are in Him. We are members of the Body of Christ. There is only ONE BODY, AND ONE LORD. ONE FATHER ONE FAITH ONE BAPTISM. Eph 4: 4 (NAS) We read in 1Cor 12: 27 “Now you are Christ body, and individually members of it.” Do we really understand what this means. It is highly unlikely you will hear this ministered in the Churches Today. This is why it is important for our ear to be open to hear God’s Word. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but ever word that proceeds from the mouth of God” There are Brothers and Sisters today who have lay aside all, and has set their sight on the mark of the high calling in Christ. Their heart is not filled with self esteem. Nor are they on an ego trip. It is important to hear with an open mind and heart. Put your trust in the Lord. This is not the day for social greatening and fund raising for some cause. This is the time, when talking to the Father of us all, is of great importance. He is not off in a far away heaven somewhere. Hear what he is telling you. You are a member of the Body of Christ. Who do you think Jesus Prayed to? He didn’t pray to himself, and you are a member of His Body. You are complete in Him, so do as He taught us to do, Pray Our Father which art in heaven. Do we know where heaven is? I tell you a fact the heavens shall rule. May we ask the question, Where is Christ? On the right hand of the Father you say. Now my Friend if you are a member of His body, Where are you? And who are you? He has made it clear who we are. I know you say we are still in the earth, waiting for Jesus to return. Wake up! wake up! He has come back to earth in His Body. You are bone of His bone, and flesh of His flesh. Don’t you know the Body of Christ is controlled by the mind of Christ? Don’t you realize, He is in control of all things. Good our bad He takes full responsibility, for every thing that happens in heaven and earth.
Jesus Christ is the chief corner stone. (Isa 28:16 Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed, He who believes in it will not be disturbed.”
I encourage the reader today. Be very still and listen to the voice of the Spirit deep within your being. He has canceled the covenant with death. You are free, from the bondage of sin through Jesus Christ. Ask Him, Not the Pastor, or the teacher, But our Father God. He loves you unconditionally, and He will direct your steps. You ask, He will answer.
