FACT OR ASSUMPTION?

Sometimes our assuming will cause us real problems. We assume we know something as a fact, so we proceed to relate that assumption as a proven fact. We see this at work to a great extent in the religious systems.
Most organizations assume they have the facts on how one should live a life pleasing to God. Some go as far as telling what clothes is or is not permitted, the rules for the men and women in the church, as to what position they are permitted to hold, Some go as far as saying what is allowable for one to eat and drink.
As for me I can only state what I feel is a fact for my own life and what the Lord is requiring of me. I find that some of the things I cannot do others have no problem with, and I am sure I do things that they feel is wrong and they can't do. I also know what I do today I may not be able to do next week. We grow in understanding as we walk with the Lord. It is a matter as to what path the Lord has chosen for you to walk and how you fit into His plan for the ages.
Scripture teaches us we belong to him. He paid the price for us, and nothing can take away that ownership.
You see His ownership is eternal, steadfast, cannot be changed. We are His always have been and always will be. God did not disown Adam and Eve, He corrected them and the method He used was such as they would return to the state they were in before they disobeyed Him. He had a plan and their disobedience was not something He hadn't planed on. The sacrifice had already been made, The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
There is a movie out making all kind of head lines Mel Gibson produced it. The movie is all about the suffering of Jesus. He hired actors to play the roles. He knew how the story was before He started the film. You didn't know how it was till you seen the film. You may have heard comments on it, but you had to see the film in order to receive the benefit of it.
Our Father completed every thing concerning man before He proceeded to send the cast that would play out the story.
Now in order to understand, it is necessary to go to the theater where the film is being shown. So it is with the Lord if you are going to understand the Story you must be in the place where the complete story is being told. And of course we must be in the Christ. Yes if we are going to understand the completeness of this we must be in the Christ for therein we are made complete.
So we are not going on an assumption when we say in order to understand the things of the Lord one must be in the Christ. It is true there are those in the Christ that can tell you about what they experienced, this is well and good but in order for you to have the full impact of it you must experience being there yourself. Another fact we can state is all things came from the Lord. He created all things nothing exist that he didn't create. So we can say we have always been in Christ. Our Spirit was not ignited to the fact none the less we are the seed of the Lord and have always been His seed or offspring. Some teach when we ask Jesus to come into our heart that is the time we become the seed of the Lord.  As for me I feel we have always been and always will be the seed of the Father, We are the body of Christ. This just didn't happen we have always been His body. You see all things are in Him and all things belong to Him. Every experience you have ever experienced or ever will experience, He ordained for it to happen. When you were birthed as a human baby and when you will cease being in the form of a human, this is all in his hands. Nothing can happen to you that he did not permit. So the question we ask is who are you going to blame? You must ask yourselves is God or is he not in control of all things? I know the answer some will give is yes he is in control of all things but there are no buts in this He is and has always been in control of all things. So the fact is we can't blame the devil, he can only do what the Father permits him to do. He was created from the same source as you. We can admit that God has control over the devil and the devil had no choice in the matter, he could only do as the Father allowed. This is true for you also, you are not your own and Father has cast you in the role necessary to tell the story, and you will do His will and not your own. Even Jesus stated "not my will but thine" So Father has a will and we are not going to change His plan.
Now as you read this you must decide if this is fact or if it is an assumption. To me these are facts needed to be considered. Facts are like a match that lights the candle when we hear facts in the spirit it ignites in us truth that causes growth.
Love and Blessings,
Pastor Bill
