2nd Timothy 3: 1-5 Realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3. Unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4. Treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. 5. Holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these. Reading the above Scripture, gives one an insight as to what is going on in our Government, and the Business world in general. Men in high office, forfeit all they have worked a life time to achieve, giving way to the lust of their flesh, not willingly but driven by a power stronger than their ability to control. Money and power becomes their God. The love of money is not limited only to Government and Business it has found a home among the Religious organizations. In fact it is difficult to know which is the most malicious among them. When Man realizes there is but one Church Today, and Jesus Christ is the head. He will soon see how these lovers of money has fleeced the people, and built to themselves kingdoms, and wealth in the name of the Lord. While they themselves have not a clue concerning the Kingdom of God nor do they have any kind of relationship with the Son of God. In fact a large majority of the leaders of the organized churches are conceited, and lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God. Their motivation is seeing the growth of their congregation, knowing the larger the congregation the more finances. They also know in order to please the people they must compromise, Call themselves Church, but in reality they are filled with the lust for power and money. A drive to be the biggest and the best.
I mentioned the fact there is but one true Church in the world today. Jesus Christ is the head, The members are His Body. It is not some man made organization with theory and doctrine’s of men. The true Church is not in a building made with hands. Jesus made it clear His Body was the true Church. Jesus told the Jew’s “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up” John 3: 19 Sometimes the depth of this is not clearly seen, It is true He was talking about His body being resurrected. Now what does this mean as far as the Church is concerned. We see in another Scripture Our Bodies are the Temple of God, and in 1st Cor 12: 27 Now you are Christ body, and individually members of it. Are you hearing what the Spirit is saying to us? You are the BODY OF CHRIST! Now, not some future time, He is now, all things are in the Now! He rules all men everywhere. He is in complete control of all things. The Body of Christ is in the Now! The light of Christ appearing will apprehend all things, reconciling all things back to the Father from whence they came. This is the true Church Gospel, I want to encourage you to rise up, and know your place in the Body of Christ, yes you have a place. You are in Christ, and Christ is in you! It is the Father, working in you, to will, and do, His own good pleasure! Hear this, You are not your own, you belong 100% to the Lord, Spirit, Soul, and Body. John 15: 5 I am the vine, you are the branches, he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.
We are being identified as to who we are. We are the Branches of the Lord, we abide in him, and He in us. Give ear and hear what the Spirit is saying.
God is the Vine, man is the Branches. They are one and the same. God is the reality of every living thing, outside of God there is no life.
Jesus prayed “Father the hour has come; glorify Thy Son, that the Son may glorify thee, even as thou gavest Him authority over all mankind that to all whom thou hast given Him, He may give eternal life. And this is eternal life, that they may know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent” Eternal life is that we may “know the Father, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.” The question we must ask ourselves, Do we know the Father? Do we have a oneness with Him? Jesus continued to pray “All things that are Mine are Thine, and Thine are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. And I am no more in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to thee Holy Father. Keep them in Thy name, the name which thou hast given Me, (Jesus/Jehovah saves) or (Immanuel God with us.) that they may be one, even as We are.” We are one with Christ and He is one with the Father. In Him is the God Head, and we are complete in Him. We are one with the Father. I know this is hard for those who all their life have been taught they were separate from the Father. They have become what their parents taught them they were. The Spirit of God is the reality of every living thing in the Universe, and ‘His’ name is I Am.
Adam is dead, and “I Am” gives life to every living thing. You are the Branches, the Spirit life of the Father flows through you giving life to His Body. Yes it is no longer your, or my life, but Christ life, living in us making us one with the Father of all living.
We must understand the finished work of the Cross. Jesus completed the work Father sent him to do. Through Him The world is reconciled back to the Father. It is wonderful, completely awesome as this generation would say.
We must worship God, Jesus was a man, flesh, bone, blood, man, He had limitations, just as you and I. He was subject to death, and Jesus died. It is not the body of Jesus or the man Jesus we worship. When Christ came forth from the grave He said to Mary. John 20: 17 “Go to my brethren, and say to them, I ascend to MY Father and your Father, and My God and your God.”Note this was Christ in His Body acknowledging we had the same Father and the same God. His God as well as our God. We honor the Son Jesus Christ, He is the door, and the only way to the Father. Just as Jesus walked perfect as a man. This is the walk we are to follow. Come follow Jesus. He will lead you to the Born again experience. It is a walk, and a life we must live. Not just saying “Jesus come into my heart,” which is the beginning of a change, that will lead you as the Spirit led Jesus, To do all the Father sent Him to do. That same Spirit will walk, talk, and live, in you. It will lead you to a transfiguration, a change from a body mortal to a Body of immortality.
We must hear the Words of God, spoken through Jesus. It wasn’t Jesus the man teaching the Disciples, it is the voice of God through Him. The Father speaking through the Son. By the Holy Spirit abiding in Him. The same Father, and Holy Spirit, speaking through the Body of Christ today. The Mind of Christ which, operated in Jesus, is the same mind in the Body of Christ, which you are a member. It is the same Father working in you to will and do, His own pleasure, as was in Jesus. “The Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.” It is difficult for one to die to self. We all our life were taught to express ourselves, work hard, have a career, make something out of ourselves. Have you noticed how the People of fame in Hollywood strut, and are pampered, living for the praise of the public. They will do what ever necessary to keep before the public. If something happens where they loose their popularity, they mostly turn to drugs, alcohol, and go into a deep depression. Self is a strong force, the Ego drives people to destruction. Yet this strong force of the Ego is the very thing we must reckon dead. When self dies to the world, resurrection takes over. This is the day the dead is hearing the voice of the Lord, and many of them are coming forth out of their graves, (dust bodies) into Life of the Spirit. Now we worship the Father in Spirit and Truth.
Where is the truth? Jesus said “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; No one comes to the Father but through me.” Also “He who has received His witness has set his seal to this, that God is true” In order to die to self, there is the truth, or reality, that the way, Jesus, the truth, Jesus, and the life Jesus. In order to live in the Kingdom, this is the formula, the plan of the Father, He requires our all. And that can only come by being dead, and resurrected, Dead to the world, and resurrected in Christ Jesus. “I live yet not I, but Christ.” the life we now live in the flesh is Christ life, as He is one with the Father so are we.
